The freehub mechanism disengages the drivetrain from the rear wheel when coasting, and an adjustable deadband filters kickback and chain vibration before it reaches the pedals, virtually eliminating pedal feedback effects on suspension. With the drive mechanism disengaged from the ratchet ring, drag is significantly reduced, resulting in an impeccably smooth ride over the roughest terrain, improved traction, and reduced fatigue.
- Adjustable pawl-pusher allows tool-free tuning of deadband between 12°, 15°, and 18° to suit rider preference, bike type, and terrain
- Chain tension filtered by the deadband ensures suspension is unhindered by resistance from pedal kick-back, resulting in improved, more consistent performance, and simpler setup
- Durable 60T ratchet ring with innovative pusher-driven 3-pawl system provides silent operation and reduced drag by remaining disengaged unless pedaling
